Adam Wicks-Arshack

Adam graduated from the University of Idaho Law School in 2017 with a focus on environmental and water law. Adam is passionate about environmental justice and is currently working on his PhD, which is focused on Environmental Governance using a quantitative legal analysis approach. Adam first came to SCLS as a contract attorney with the Emergency Eviction Defense Program. He felt this would be a good way to use his law degree to help support vulnerable people in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic while he worked on his dissertation. While working for SCLS as a contract attorney Adam also began volunteering in our Family Law Clinic and from there he was hired on as staff attorney working in a hybrid capacity between our Housing Justice and Family Law Programs.
Adam and his wife live in the mountains along beautiful Highway 2 and when he is not busy practicing law, he can be found growing his own food, paddling on the Skykomish River, climbing mountains or sailing on his boat, Mariah, throughout the Salish Sea.
