Jane, an attorney, in addition to being the Executive Director, relocated to our community from Mississippi. She is organized and focused on making sure the organization continues to thrive.
Our staff firmly believes that Jane has encouraged and supported us to be better and we are thrilled to have such a kind professional working alongside of our staff, volunteers, and community partners. Better at serving our communities, better at remembering why we’re doing this work, better at our jobs.
Jane was built for this kind of work. In a recent interview, she was asked for her favorite quote, her empathy shown bright when she quoted John Wesley, “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can.” She deeply believes in incorporating compassion into her daily practice. Jane has practiced as a lawyer in her own private practice in Mississippi and was a volunteer attorney for us before accepting our offer to step into the Executive Director role.
Jane was named Snohomish County “Attorney of the Year” in 2022.

Tiffany Lam graduated from the South Texas College of Law in 2024. Prior to law school Tiffany worked in the medical field as a surgical neurophysiology tech.
Initially, Tiffany was interested in pursuing Patent and Intellectual Property Law, but through participating in the school legal clinics, soon discovered how meaningful and impactful pro-bono and civil legal aid work really was.
It was during her time interning at the clinic that Tiffany decided to go into Civil Legal Aid. This decision was inspired by her interactions with the people who lived on the streets in Houston, Texas as she would walk to her classes. This made her more aware of the economic and housing disparity that exists in many communities and drove her desire to be part of the solution. Through Civil Legal Aid, Tiffany realized that she could help people experiencing housing vulnerability in a tangible way by making them aware of their legal rights.
Tiffany relocated to Washington in January of 2025 and began volunteering at Snohomish County Legal Services in February of the same year. She was hired as a Staff Attorney in our Housing Justice Department in April 2025.
In her free time Tiffany can be found rock climbing and spending time with her pug Gus (short for Asparagus).
