Damari Peralez-Long

Damari is a Washington native and recently began her graduate studies at Northwestern University – Chicago online program working toward an M.A. in Public Policy and Administration. She graduated May 2021 earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology Magna Cum Laude. 
Damari has a passion and commitment to social justice and is an avid learner. Prior to starting at the Snohomish County Legal Services, Damari was a Digital Marketing and Community Projects Coordinator for the Latino Educational Training Institute.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, working out at her local gym, and traveling, among other activities. She remarks how if she could move anywhere it would be to Paris, France as she partook in a study abroad trip for 2-3 weeks during her undergraduate studies. Damari’s aspirations include making a change through policy reform at the local and state level and ultimately attending law school, concentrating on environmental, human rights, and international law.

Adele Gavin came to SCLS in 2019. Prior to working at SCLS she was a program manager at a homeless shelter for families in Everett where she had worked for 10 years. She has BA in Human Services and a passion for working in the capacity of bringing essential services to those in need in the community. She is originally from Santa Fe NM and her free time she loves painting and being out in nature.
