Diane Weyrick

Diane’s relationship with Snohomish County Legal Services spans 17 years. She first came to SCLS as a Rule 9 intern.  She subsequently worked as a part time contract attorney, and since 2007, as a full-time staff attorney.  She currently manages our Family Law Clinic and D.i.S.c.o. (Divorce in Snohomish County) class as well as our Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Clinic (which is currently on hiatus).

Prior to becoming an attorney, Diane worked as a musical comedy actress, licensed massage therapist, and Alaska tour guide.  Not surprisingly, she takes a holistic approach to the practice of law, encouraging legal problem-solving that promotes constructive rather than divisive resolution of legal issues achieved in a non-combative manner.

Diane is also known as Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma to a select group of individuals. All of these Dianes agree that Equal Access To Justice should be more than just a catch phrase for public law enthusiasts.  Working at SCLS enables her to put her money where her mouth is, and she hopes to continue with SCLS for years to come.
