Jesse Matsukawa

Jesse Matsukawa has been with Snohomish County Legal Services since June 2020. Jesse attended Lewis and Clark Law School and graduated in 2015. He passed the bar in 2016. He went to Cal State, Long Beach for undergrad and double majored in political science and environmental science and policy.

Jesse has a big heart and is a natural helper. When I asked him what he likes most about his job, he had this to say, “I like helping people I feel society hasn’t given a fair shake to”. Ultimately, he feels it’s his job to keep people in their homes, as a direct way to fight gentrification.

Adele Gavin came to SCLS in 2019. Prior to working at SCLS she was a program manager at a homeless shelter for families in Everett where she had worked for 10 years. She has BA in Human Services and a passion for working in the capacity of bringing essential services to those in need in the community. She is originally from Santa Fe NM and her free time she loves painting and being out in nature.
