Skyler Clary

Radical environmental activist turned human rights activist, Skyler went to law school to find new ways to take direct action against systems of oppression and exploitation. He earned a B.S. in political science, and a J.D. with an emphasis on Social Justice Law at the age of 37. His professional legal experience includes criminal defense, employment law, and suing prisons to provide better conditions. Skyler has been working with the Housing Justice Project since 2019, first as a volunteer, then a contract attorney, now as a staff attorney.
Skyler is a member of the National Lawyers Guild housing and homelessness committee, member of the American Bar Association Civil Rights and Social Justice section, the Washington bar association Civil Rights Section, and is serving as Parliamentarian for the local branch of a major political party.

Adele Gavin came to SCLS in 2019. Prior to working at SCLS she was a program manager at a homeless shelter for families in Everett where she had worked for 10 years. She has BA in Human Services and a passion for working in the capacity of bringing essential services to those in need in the community. She is originally from Santa Fe NM and her free time she loves painting and being out in nature.
